Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE), is an academic division of the Georgia Institute of Technology. We provide working professionals and industry partners access to the expertise of a world-renowned technological research university. The Georgia Tech values of integrity, excellence, impact, and innovation drive every aspect of our programs.

Located in the Global Learning Center in the heart of Technology Square in Midtown Atlanta, and at Georgia Tech-Savannah, we offer professional development courses, certificate programs, workforce development programs, and online master’s degrees to advance the careers of working professionals and to support the goals of industry partners. Learners can also take Georgia Tech’s Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which are produced by GTPE. Through a variety of face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats, we deliver programs to suit the diverse needs of career-focused adult learners in STEM and business fields.

GTPE also administers K-12 outreach and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs, and manages learning-centered meeting and conference facilities in Atlanta and Savannah. In 2017, GTPE educated more than 33,000 learners representing 2,700 companies. Our courses and programs are offered in multiple cities throughout the Southeast and worldwide.

Prototype Prime is non-profit incubator focused on early stage software and hardware technology startups. Funded by the City of Peachtree Corners and in partnership with the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) at Georgia Tech, Prototype Prime’s mission is to provide startup companies with the support they need to launch & scale. Facilities include 25,000 square feet of multi-use space: private offices, a podcast room, co-working areas, special event room, prototyping lab, and a 50 seat classroom. Prototype Prime is also adjacent to a 1.4 mile autonomous vehicle test track. (Opening Q1 2019)
