About Georgia Tech Professional Education

Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE), is an academic division of the Georgia Institute of Technology. We provide working professionals and industry partners access to the expertise of a world-renowned technological research university. The Georgia Tech values of integrity, excellence, impact, and innovation drive every aspect of our programs.

Located in the Global Learning Center in the heart of Technology Square in Midtown Atlanta, and at Georgia Tech-Savannah, we offer professional development courses, certificate programs, workforce development programs, and online master’s degrees to advance the careers of working professionals and to support the goals of industry partners. Learners can also take Georgia Tech’s Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which are produced by GTPE. When does the program start?

  • Class begins November 10, 2020
  • Tuesday/Thursday 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Can I keep working while studying at the Cyber and Network Security Boot Camp?

  • Yes. The program was designed for working professionals who are seeking to advance their current careers or change paths.

How long does it take to complete the program?

  • The program is part-time. Learners can complete it in six months (24 weeks).

Do you provide career planning support?

  • Yes. We offer all of our learners career support and coaching, including project reviews, resume assistance, and technical interview training. In addition, we offer learners experiential learning opportunities to strengthen their portfolio.

Do I need to have previous experience in cyber and network security before applying?

  • While some background knowledge is helpful, no experience is needed as long as you are dedicated and eager to learn. Our pre-course tutorials will help you prepare for our program.
